We are providing support to ITAC, a branch of the Office of Management of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). ITAC provides a full range of IT support services to the Institute including custom software development, customization, and deployment of commercial of the shelf (COTS) products, management of the NHLBI IT infrastructure and IT Security Policy. ITAC collaborates very closely with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Center for Information Technology (CIT) in many of its functions and serves a set of customers ranging from researchers in the Division of Intramural Research (DIR), to scientists managing a scientific grant portfolio, to personnel supporting the administrative aspects of the Institute’s operations.

Providing MEDCOM HQ Capability Support programmatic and financial management support to MEDCOM, to include the Regional Health Commands (RHC), by providing a financial management capability to address the management of the medical readiness resources.

We provide HQ programmatic and financial management, which is comprised of Financial Management and Administrative Assistance and Program Management Assistance services to MEDCOM and the RHCs at DHHQ Headquarters and the Office of the Surgeon General. The Financial and Management services consists of administration, audit capabilities, data analytics, financial management support, and information technology (IT) support. Program Management Assistance services consists of process improvement, project management, communications, strategic planning support, education priority management (internal) and functional analysis.

CATTS is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract covering chief information officer support, digital document and records management, managed services outsourcing and consulting, IT operations and maintenance, IT services management, and cybersecurity. CATTS objectives are to operate and sustain the current environment while migrating to cloud services to the maximum extent possible. The department wishes to minimize its physical footprint and the investments needed for technology refreshes every 3-5 years. ProGov Partners will support improving service delivery and migration from Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) to either Platform as a Service (PaaS) or Software as a Service (SaaS).

The purpose of these efforts includes the following:

  • Realize efficiencies by reducing duplication and redundancy, which reduces overall costs.
  • Remove and reduce outdated legacy applications and infrastructures.
  • Improve project management of DOC-wide IT investments.
  • Provide high-quality, consistent, and repeatable services for the entire Department using current and future technologies.
  • Retain necessary service levels in support of DOC missions.
  • Maintain or improve IT security posture, standards, and controls.
